What (do I do)?

  I have a hard time pinning down exactly what it is I do, but my main shtick is video editing. Photography used to complement that, but my secondary shtick is now graphic design, relegating photography to my tertiary. I used to mess around with audio and 3d modelling, but I don’t really have the passion or patience for either anymore. I have started drawing because apparently, you need to draw to learn graphic design in college, and for the longest time, I have written. I suppose what I do is just storytelling.

  The videos I produce primarily consist of IRL recorded content, edited down for y’all’s viewing pleasure and as a crutch for my shit ass memory, short films, gaming videos, and school assignments. My editing style is very barebones, but I’ve been polishing it over the years. My videos have been described as 2000’s internet-ish, brain-melting, fast, punchy, and disorienting. I aim to create videos akin to:

  a) the tv I watched as a kid,
  b) a fever dream,
  c) a shroom trip.

  I utterly despise traditional filmmaking, but despite that, I have screenwritten four short films, completed two, and am currently filming one. I am not satisfied with either film I’ve finished, and maybe I’ll call it quits once I’ve finished the current short film. My graphic design style is similarly barebones, but I aim to evoke that 2000s-2010s style that has unfortunately trended in recent years as everyone grows up. I mainly photograph scenes that catch my eye, or I think would be good to write about later.

  I used to graphic design for the same reason I used to make videos: I wanted to realize my ideas I have running around my head, but now I'm pursuing graphic design as a career. I suppose this site is my first real venture in html and css for web design.
